We Are Caring is an organization that aids employment between Employers & domestic workers through an app, in Singapore.
As a team of 3 UX Designers, we have Implementated a new business model by creating a platform for accurate matching between Confinement Nannies & Employers, to seek for the best job assessment fit.
This includes a comprehensive database for profile matching, interview & localization features.
We had 45 minute face-to-face and zoom interviews with 8 employers and 6 confinement nannies.
We utilised published reports, articles and government backed statistics to provide macro-level insights.
We visited and spoke directly to 3 confinement agencies and 2 confinement training centres in Singapore.

It was a very fulfilling 3 weeks trying to get to know We Are Caring's business model, speaking to confinement nannies and understanding their pain points. The research process was not easy and had to be carried out in mandarin as well because most of the Confinement nannies are fluent with mandarin.

It was pleasant experience liaising with Shan on the confinement nanny project. She has provided an intensive 2.5 weeks of research and established a GUI of our mobile app to include a new service in our organization. Creative features are included to enhance the matching service of our current mobile app enabling confinement nannies and employers to find the right match with less hassle.
